HATCH-ing Great Things!

We help to put books in children's hands and homes through several partner programs.

None does more promising, exciting, intimate, long-term work with their clients -- recipients of our "Welcome Baby" tote bags -- than HATCH Doulas, a small organization in Oakland. We provide bags with a beautiful, informative book for expectant moms along with a few infant books. Their Doulas, who already include talking about the importance of pre-and early-literacy with their clients, do the hand-off to recipients, and refer to the parent book, I Love You Like Sunshine, over time. So I'm always excited to get a request for book bags from HATCH, like these we'll be delivering shortly.
